Fostering Relations with Key Stakeholders in Akkar

Fostering relationships with all local and regional actors and spreading good practices are the constant goals of SALAR International. Moreover, SALAR International believes in the crucial role that Akkar governorate and its governor play as key stakeholders in local governance. As such, SALAR International paid a visit to the Akkar governor office. The team handed over Salamati app to be adopted by other municipalities in collaboration with Balamand University and the municipality of Qobayat, and in partnership with the Lebanese Red Cross. The governor office also assigned a liaison officer to coordinate with SALAR International in all its projects.
